The Asylum is an over 6,000 square feet, completely indoor haunted attraction, with over 15 rooms, numerous hallways, mazes, and narrow passages filled with live actors, animatronics, and special fx designed to provide you and your friends a frightful experience! Who knows what or who you'll bump into in the dark? From the boiler room, past the hazerdous material storage and then into the lab, through the infirmary, then get a taste of shock therapy, before entering the mind of a hallucinating patient, through a dark maze, to cells where we keep the crimanly insane. Multiple padded rooms, leading to the nurses station and then onto the nursery. If you make it this far you'll finally reach the morgue, through the meat locker where we store those that didn't make it, and then through the cemetery and hopefully the exit. You'll travel in and out of several other rooms and areas in between, you will get the chance to learn that, Fear Really Is A Place!
This upcoming season several rooms will be getting changes and new scares. Expect to see some new characters. There are a few other things in store for this season at The Asylum, but we're not ready to announce them just yet.
The Asylum built in the 1800's, was a psychiatric hospital that specia lized in the treatment of serious mental illness. The stated goal was to use mind-alteration to protect someone from being harmed, and/or prevent potential crimes. ...
Or was it?
Some say it was a facade to cover up the maniacal mind of an insane doctor. Others have said it was a Top Secret government facility that was using mind altering drugs and treatments to try and create the ultimate soldier.
Visitors on the property have reported hearing footsteps, doors opening and closing, whispers and even the squeak of wheels as if someone is pushing a wheelchair or a gurney through the old empty halls. In the late 1960's, the Asylum was boarded up, abandoned, condemned and left for dead. No one really knows what caused the darkness that the asylum harbors, but they ALL agree as empty as it may seem it is still inhabited by something very dark and evil.
